* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Tallapoosa County in east central Alabama…
Southeastern Coosa County in east central Alabama…

* Until 745 AM CDT.

* At 656 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Nixburg, or
near Equality, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Alexander City, Dadeville, Camp Hill, Rockford, Equality, Jacksons’
Gap, New Site, Waverly, Cottage Grove, Nixburg, Hillabee Creek,
Eastern Lake Martin, Western Lake Martin, Northern Lake Martin,
Highway 9 and Highway 22, Wind Creek State Park, Still Waters
Resort, Southern Lake Martin, Daviston and Fishpond.
