The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northern Winston County in northwestern Alabama…

* Until 1000 PM CDT.

* At 854 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Needmore, or
7 miles northeast of Haleyville, moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Haleyville, Arley, Double Springs, Addison, Houston Recreational
Area, Nesmith, Brushy Lake, Helicon, Inmanfield, Ashridge, Sardis,
Needmore, Moreland, Winston Free State Barn, Smith Lake, Houston,
Posey Field Airport, Mill Branch, Hullett Branch and Winston County
Airport.
