South Central Alabama Storms Getting Stronger

The storm approaching I_65 between Deatsville and Prattville is getting stronger and is approaching severe limits.

It is centered near MM 166.

Has indications of 1 inch hail now approaching the interstate and has an organized structure.

It will move across Millbrook, Wetumpka, and northern portions of the Montgomery Metro.

Warnings may be required soon.

These storms are part of a rash of storms that are intensifying across South Central Alabama in an unstable airmass with strong wind shear for mid-June.
