More Mississippi Storms Upstream From Central Alabama

Storms are lining up over Mississippi into West Central Alabama and could make for a long afternoon of warnings.

Currently, the storm near Greensboro is severe warned and is producing a huge area of torrential rain and 1 inch hail. It is putting down around 1 lightning stroke per second as well, so it means business. It has the potential to produce 70 mph winds as well.

Folks in Greensboro and New Bern should be in a safe place as these storms pass.

This lead storm will move into Perry County and will affect Marion soon.
