Storm in Lamar County Going Severe

The storms over western Alabama are intensifying and a severe thunderstorm warning is being issued for Lamar County.

Folks from Vernon and Crossville down to Kennedy need to be in a substantial structure as these storms approach.

Winds could gust to go mph and there is lots of lightning. Recent flash rates are running 28 flashes per minute.
