Two New Warnings

New severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Calhoun, Cherokee, Etowah, St. Clair, and Talladega Counties…goes til 6 pm. Multiple trees down in western half of Etowah County. 40 mph wind gusts at Gadsden Airport.

Severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Jackson, Madison, and Marshall Counties in North Alabama. 52 knot gust at KHSV in Huntsville.

Storms are strengthening as they approach the Birmingham Metro from the northwest. Be ready for strong gusty winds, torrential rain, lightning and small hail. ‘
