New Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Central Alabama…Some Northwest Alabama Counties Cleared

The severe weather threat continues across Central Alabama this evening near a weak warm front and on the southern edge of a strong upper level flow.

New severe thunderstorm watch til 11 p.m. Counties include: Calhoun, Clay, Cleburne, Fayette, Lamar, Marion, Randolph, St. Clair, Talladega, Walker, and Winston.

The following counties have been removed from the watch: Colbert, DeKalb, Franklin, Lawrence, Marshall, Morgan,

Cullman stays in the original watch til 8 p.m.
