East Central Alabama Update
Strong storms continue this afternoon over East Central Alabama to the east and south of I-65 an dI-20 and approaching I-85 in the Auburn/Opelika area.
New severe thunderstorm warning issued for Lee County including Auburn and Opelika.
Damaging winds are the primary threat. The 58 db echo is at 50,000 feet, an indication of its intensity. Hail to the size of quarters is definitely possible.
