Severe Thunderstorm Warnings In Effect For Parts of Elmore and Tallapoosa Counties

Strong storms continue this afternoon across East Central Alabama from Dadeville to near Tallassee to west of Shrter, or east of Montgomery.

The storms have the potential to produce 60 mph wind gusts and hail 0.75-1 inch in diameter.

The threat of severe weather continues through the afternoon and evening for area southeast of a line from Fort Payne to Birmingham to Demopolis down to north of Dothan.
