| December 28, 2023 @ 10:09 pm

Just before 10 p.m., here is a quick look at the Alabama weather situation.

Light rain showers and are showing up on regional radars from near Waverly, TN west of Nashville into northern Mississippi from Corinth to Houston to Senatobia to Holly Springs.

Surface temperatures are still in the upper 30s across much of this area and no snow is being detected.

We will be monitoring the precipitation overnight to see if it can manage to mix with or change over to snow.

The latest model data is not very supportive of snow over North Alabama. The best chance looks like it will be about 6-7 a.m.

We will be tracking the precipitation overnight and tomorrow.
