Cold Day For Rock Climbing

Thanks to ABC 33/40 Skywatcher Vic Bell for these image taken yesterday… he writes:

“I took a daughter and granddaughter up to Cherokee Rock Village (Little Rock City to the locals). It’s at the highest point on Shinbone Ridge which is on the SE edge of Lookout Mtn overlooking Leesburg and Weiss Lake. It was even colder than I expected with winds on top of the rocks gusting to 40-50 mph. Nevertheless, there were still quite a few rock climbers out. These four guys were from Georgia Tech.”
