Early Evening in Alabama–6:40 Report

Light rain has spread into parts Northwest and West Alabama. Most of it is not reaching the ground. As tjhe evening goes on, however, it will.

Over is Mississippi,, light rain was occurring over a good part of the state. By 6 pm, 0.15 was measured at Greenwood, 0.13 at Tupelo.

This will not be a heavy rain event for Alabama and most of it should be gone by daybreak.
