Few Flurries, A Little Sleet

| February 6, 2010 @ 10:45 am | 13 Replies

A few flurries and a little sleet have been reported across North Alabama this morning.

Drizzle has also been reported further south.

Mike Wilhelm (bamawx.com) reports flurries just south of the Tennessee River near Priceville, on the Morgan/Cullman County line.

Skywatcher Bill Lockridge reports sleet has been falling at Noccaula Falls in Etowah County.

The Skywatcher in Gold Ridge in eastern Cullman County also reports flurries.

No official reporting stations with precipitation in Alabama at this hour, but you could see drizzle, sleet or snow flurries into the early afternoon.

Temperatures are in the upper 30s to near 40 across Central Alabama, with mid 30s in the north. It will not get much warmer today than where you are right now, maybe 3-4 degrees at best.
