My friend Kathryn Potter sends these photos from her home in D.C…

Kathryn reports that it is still coming down at 3;16 p.m. CST. She also reports that there are several trees down in their neighborhood.

Reports are that several roof collapses have been reported in the Washington/Baltimore area.

24 inches through 1 p.m. EST at Baltimore/Washington International Airport. A late report indicates 26.5 inches has now fallen. This would be enough to tie for second and is only 1.7 inches short of the all time record snow for Baltimore…that occurred in 2003.

The snow has mostly ended in Philadelphia and is ending at Baltimore…one more snow band for Washington D.C.

16 inches of snow at Reagan/National Airport through 1 p.m. EST. This means this storm will certainly surpass the December 2009 snow, and could get into the top three all time there. (UPDATED 2 p.m. EST report shows 17 inches at Reagan….storm now in 5th place and will easily get into 4th all time at Washington.)

Virginia State Police responded to 3,167 calls including 1,323 wrecks & 1,216 disabled vehicles yesterday across their state.
