Storms Increasing in North Alabama…Strong Storms Continue Across South Central Alabama As Well

Storms are increasing across North and West Central Alabama at this hour from the Huntsville/Decatur area down into Pickens, Sumter and Greene Counties.

The storms along the Alabama/Tennessee border over northern Jackson County is severe. The storm near Decatur has become severe as well.

Storms over South Central Alabama are continuing but are sub severe at this time. They extend from along I-85 east of Montgomery into Lowndes County curving back through Monrie, Clarke, and into Choctaw counties.

All storms this afternoon have the potential to produce damaging winds.
