Another Cold Morning

So, “what is new about that” you say. It has been that way many times this winter. Our forecast low for BHM this morning was very accurate. However, we feared some colder temperatures because the models were on track about the invasion of some very low dew points between 10 and 13 degrees. So, here are the results:

EXPECTED TO SLOWLY DECREASE TONIGHT.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO 2 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED IN SOME
LOWER ELEVATION AREAS…WITH 3 TO 7 INCHES EXPECTED IN THE
NORMALLY FAVORED HIGHER ELEVATION AREAS.

* WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS FROM 15 TO 25 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS AT
TIMES…WITH SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF SNOW POSSIBLE…MAINLY
ACROSS THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS.

* ROAD CONDITIONS MAY BECOME VERY HAZARDOUS THROUGH TONIGHT…PARTICULARLY
IN HIGHER ELEVATION AREAS.
