Radar Update: Stormy Weather Persists Over Alabama

It has been quite a gloomy day in much of the state today. Areas to the northwest have mostly seen just rain, with a few spotty storms. Most of the strong storm activity, though, has stayed to the southeast. Luckily, none of these storms have been within the parameters of being severe. As we continue to go through today, there is still a chance for some strong to severe storms to arise, specifically in the southeastern area of the state. Rain chances for much of the state hang around into the overnight hours, and through the day Thursday. We will continue to monitor the radar and update when necessary.
