Water Levels Rising Along the Gulf Coast

Here is the situation in St. Marks, south of Tallahassee. This flooding is from rainwater, but inspecting the boat ramps at the marina shows that they are nearly submerged in water frmo the St. Marks River.

Indeed, water levels are rising along the Gulf Coast.

Here is tidal graph at the NOAA NOS Station at Apalachicola.

The surge there is around 2.84 feet above normal.

Peak surge in this part of the coastline is expected to potentially reach 15-20 feet, which will be catastrophic.
