Dense Fog Advisory Issued From 3am-9am For Portions of Central Alabama
The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a dense fog advisory for the following counties: Barbour, Bullock, Chambers, Elmore, Lee, Macon, Montgomery, Pike, Randolph, Russel, and Tallapoosa.
The dense fog advisory will go into effect at 3am and end at 9am CT. During this time, visibilities will drop to 1/4 mile or less in some areas, resulting in locally hazardous travel. If you are traveling during that time period, use caution and allow for extra time to get to your destination.
