Strong Thunderstorm Impacting Northern Lamar and Southern Marion Counties This Morning
A strong thunderstorm is impacting northern Lamar and soon southern Marion county early this morning. While the storm is not severe, some gusty winds are possible, and small hail is likely. Hail up to 1/2″ in diameter will be possible as this storm moves to the east/northeast through 8am. A good bit of lightning is also occurring with this storm.
Additional isolated strong thunderstorms with hail will be possible this afternoon, but this will not be a major severe weather event. That doesn’t arrive until Friday night and Saturday.
