New Severe Thunderstorm Watch For Portions Of North And Central Alabama
The NWS/SPC has issued a new severe thunderstorm watch, which now includes portions of central and northern Alabama, including cities like Hamilton, Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, Cullman, Huntsville, and Gadsden. The main threat with any storm today remains damaging winds and large hail. Some storms have already produced 2″ diameter hail so that is certainly a concern for today.
