Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Northeastern Clay County Until 5:15 AM

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for northeastern Clay County in east central Alabama until 5:15 AM CDT.

At 4:30 AM, a strong storm was located near Ashland, moving east at 40 mph.

This storm is capable of producing 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-size hail.

Lineville, Ashland, Delta, Barfield, Cragford, and Gunthertown are all in the path.

Residents in the warned area should move to shelter immediately and stay away from windows.
