Storms have still shown no sign of becoming severe at this hour.

The only real storm right now is north of Anniston.

The line of heavy showers extends down through Talladega County.

It is moving east at about 20 mph while individual cells are moving ENE at 45 mph.

The best chance for severe weather for the next three hours or so is south of I-20 and east of I-65…but it will be harder for storms to initiate the further south you go.

Behind this line…the event is over…with falling dewpoints and westerly winds.

Get ready for a beautiful week starting Tuesday.

JB will be keeping an eye on things through 5 p.m. Thanks for reading the ABC3340 Weather Blog!
