Looking West…

A late night look to the west…

…reveals showers and storms…

A severe thunderstorm warning was in effect until just a moment ago for for some parishes in Northeast Louisiana.

Lightning filled storms were approaching the Memphis area.

The storms are more scattered and weaker to the South.

All of the activity should reach western Alabama around 6 a.m. or so.

These showers and storms will approach West Alabama later tonight and early Saturday morning. No significant severe weather is expected, although I wouldn’t be surprised to see a few warnings.
