A line of thunderstorms continues moving eastward across Alabama this morning.

At 7 a.m., the line extends from just east of Double Springs in Winston County to just east of Carbon Hill in Walker County to Fayette County just east of Berry.

The line becomes more broken to the northwest of Tuscaloosa down to northwest of Meridian.

The storms have weakened a bit after they flared up over Mississippi during the night. Several severe thunderstorm warnings were required in Mississippi and one in Northwest Alabama around 6 a.m.

There are no warnings in effect now with the line, but the stronger storms are capable of producing some small hail and strong gusty winds, as well as lightning.
