NASHVILLE
A bit of encouragement. The Cumberland River was at 48.7 feet this morning, a drop of almost two feet since yesterday morning. However, flood stage is 40 feet so the river is still 8.7 feet above flood stage.

Northwest of Nashville, the Cumberland was at 60.8 feet this morning, a fall of 1.7 feet. However, flood stage is 46 feet.

RAIN NEWS
The official forecast for Nashville is continued dry until a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms late Friday and Friday night. Does not appear to be a significant rain event–nowhere near what happened last weekend.
