A severe thunderstorm warning was in effect for Elmore County for a severe storm northeast of Wetumpka.

The line then curved back to around Selma then to Grove Hill and into baldwin County where another severe thunderstorm warning is in effect.

A storm was over the City of Gadsden and another was north of Heflin. Some of the heaviest weather in North Central Alabama was approaching Talladega and over Sylacauga.

Be alert for heavy rain, sharp lightning and strong gusty winds as the line moves eastward an individual storms move northeast.
