Storms Moving Across East Alabama

Showers and storms continue to move eastward across East Alabama this evening.

Shortly before 8 p.m., the extended from…east of Guntersville to Gadsden to near Ohatchee to west of Oxford to west of Lineville.

The heaviest storm was near Ohatchee.

A broken line of storms extends from near Wadley to Alex City to south of Clanton to east of Selma. The heaviest storms were near Wetumpka to south of Wadley.

West of the line, there is no precipitation.

The heavier cells will feature brief heavy rain, intense lightning and gusty winds.
