Hole Punch Cloud
This shot was taken this morning by Jimmy Wells. He writes:
“I took this shot of a cloud this morning around 9:30, and thought I’d share it with you. The view is looking northeast from Falkville, AL. What would cause the circle like that?”
Sure looks like a “hole punch” cloud to me. See some shots of a similar cloud taken in Mobile in 2003 here, along with a possible explanation.
