North Carolina Shelf Cloud

Thanks to Daniel Cheek for these images… he writes:

“Hi James,
My family and I were on vacation last week in Ocean Isle Beach, NC and I took some pictures I thought you might be interested in. The pictures are of what appears to be a shelf cloud that was running out in front of a storm system. It is interesting seeing one coming and watching it go right over your head. I have also included a picture of the storm cell that showed up after the cloud went overhead. Hope you enjoy!”
