Cooperstown Or Bust

We pulled out of Birmingham around 10:00… Our 12 boys on the Hoover East roster, four coaches, one umpire, and a bunch of parents. I am writing this as we drive through Knoxville shortly after 3:00 a.m. EDT. Thankfully I am used to little or no sleep; we are driving straight to Cooperstown, where we play at the Dreams Park in a few days. I don’t think I have ever been on a bus ride this long in my life.

Being the tech geek in board, I have opened up my Macbook Pro as a wifi hot spot in the bus thanks to an attached 3G card. The computer is attached to a Hypermac external battery which should keep the computer running all the way to New York. Lots of folks have thanked me for being the free Internet Service Provider on board. I have counted 3 iPads, and 12 iPhones. Boys and their toys…

More updates later as we roll northward…
