It is a beautiful November day across Central Alabama.

A light southerly flow is transporting moisture northward into the state, bringing stratocumulus clouds along with it, which give the sky a bit of texture.   The clouds have been thick at times, occasionally blocking the sun, especially over middle and eastern sections.

Temperatures range from the upper 60s i t he east to the lower 70s in the west, where there is more sun.

Lows tonight will drop into the middle and upper 40s for the most part.

Sunday will be a lot like today with partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures.  Monday will be breezy and mild.  Showers and storms should return on Tuesday, with showers lingering into Wednesday before the cold front finally moves through late Wednesday, accompanied by a round of showers and storms.  Much colder conditions will arrive late Thursday and make for a chilly day on Iron Bowl Friday.
