Late Afternoon in Alabama–4:45 Report
Main showers in Alabama late this afternoon were over the West Central part of the state. At 4:45 pm, that cluster of showers extended from the west haklf of Tuscaloosa southward along the Greene-Hale County line to near Livingston in Sumter County.
The heavier showers were over SW Tuscaloosa County and near the Greene-Hale County line. Some of the heavier showers were approaching Tuscaloosa and Moundville.
Everything moving toward the northeast.
Temperatures are in the 70s over most of the area. However, the cold front (that we have been talking about for several days) has just passed Memphis. Temperature has dropped quickly to 52 there. It is below freezing at this hour at Fayetteville in NW Arkansas with 31 degrees. (Home of the University of Arkansas Razorbacks)
