Tornado Southwest of St. Louis

A damaging tornado is on the ground near Rolla MO at this time.

Initial reports are that there are multiple homes destroyed and cars thrown.

Damage was reported on Fort Hood.

This storm is about a little less than 100 miles southwest of St. Louis. It could affect the city around noon.

A tornado watch is in effect for Arkansas, Missouri and southwestern Illinois.
