Dress Warmly For Birmingham’s Bowl Saturday

We welcome all of the Kentucky Wildcats and Pittsburgh Panthers for the BBVA Compass Bowl at historic Legion Field Saturday morning.

It’s nice to have you in Birmingham!

Coffee will be the beverage of choice at tailgating events with readings in the 30s. Kickoff temperatures should be near 40, warming into the middle 40s by the end of the game. A northwesterly wind at 8-16 mph could play a role in the game and will make fans feel even chillier.

Put on some long johns under your jeans, layer up and head to the old Gray Lady. And don’t forget to eat several of the best hog dog in sports, bar none.

This is bigtime college football and we thank ESPN, BBVA Compass and Mark Meadows and his team for bringing us a great matchup!
