Late Report From Blount County

NOTE: Strait Mountain is in Blount County and not very far northeast of Birmingham. Here is a more recent report:

Please tell your weather man that it is pouring snow on the top of Straight Mountain (Blount County Highway 27) and the roads on this mountain are still impassable and frozen solid. Our porch says it is now 33 degrees and it most certainly has not cleared up any.
