Storm Surveys Planned for Today

| March 1, 2011 @ 5:23 am | Reply

The National Weather Service in Birmingham will conduct some storm surveys to determine whether straight-line winds or tornadoes caused the damage around Central Alabama yesterday. As always, if you have severe weather reports, pictures with a time and location are a great way to assist the NWS in these surveys; especially if it sounds like no one is aware of the damage near you. Our picture address is pictures@abc3340.com, and you can always send us quick reports on Twitter (@simpson3340) and Facebook that we are more than happy to pass along to the NWS.
