From Hawaii

Thanks to ABC 33/40 Skywatcher Kristie Calvin of North Pole, Alaska for these images… she writes:

“Hi James:

Well, we decided to escape the cold and snow and head to Hawaii. When we left home over the weekend, it was 20 below zero. When we stepped off the plane, it was 83 degrees. Wow, a 103 degree difference! It has taken some time to adjust (only 5 minutes), but we’ve managed. We have hiked Diamond Head and been kayaking to off-shore islands. Today, we plan to go to the North Shore where waves will be 18-20 feet. I should be able to get some decent photos of them. I have attached some pictures taken from the top of Diamond Head and from the drive around the east side of the island.

God bless!
Kristie”
