Here is an updated position report on that line of showers and thunderstorms extending all the way across Alabama.

At 10:40 pm, the line of storms extended from Calhoun and Cleburne County on the east side of the state and extended SW across Talladega, North Chilton, to near Marion in Perry County and finally to the Demopolis/Livingston area on the west side of the state.

It is a solid line of showers and storms with pouring rain and lightning still very active.

Another rain report from Terry/Gardendale. 0.91 of an inch,

the heavy rain will reach Clanton and Rockford soon.

Rain has greatly diminished in places like Tuscaloosa/Birmingham/Gadsden. It is mostly over for those locations.

Since this is our biggest rain event in a long time (many areas got around one inch) we will post a long list of amounts tomorrow morning.
