New ABC 33/40 Web Look

| December 2, 2007 @ 5:09 pm | 21 Replies

I see we have a number of comments here on the new “look” of the ABC 33/40 web site. I know those guys have worked hard on this for a long time… and I am sure they would appreciate your input and comments. You can reach the web team here (be sure and choose web team when sending the comment).

Change can be difficult, but moving forward always means change. The new abc3340.com site is better suited for video and interaction with our readers and viewers, but there inevitably will be some bugs, and they will be worked out in coming days.

One logistical note that most of you know… this blog is actually owned and operated by The Weather Company, a private weather firm here in Birmingham that contracts with ABC 33/40 to provide weather for the abc3340.com web site. Through The Weather Company, we get the services of folks like J.B. Elliott, Bill Murray, and John Oldshue. It is really a win-win partnership for everyone. Our blog format and team will not change at all…

Looks like a pretty light rain event tonight… I will have a full discussion and the Weather Xtreme video here by 7:00 a.m. tomorrow!
