Frosty Spring Morn

| April 17, 2011 @ 7:20 am | 2 Replies

As expected, quite a few spots got well down into the 30s this morning with some frost.

Here are some 6 a.m. official temperatures. The location of the high explains it all.

Vic Bell on Lookout Mountain reports 33F with frost. Broomtown in Cherokee County checked in with 32F and light frost. Donny in Fayette reported a low of 34F.

LATE REPORT: 37F at Coker, according to Ron Hughes.

Some official lows:

35F at Pinson 35F
37F at Decatur, Muscle Shoals
38F at Huntsville
39F at Birmingham, Anniston
40F at Tuscaloosa
41F at Calera

Huntsville’s report is not in yet…but there will be some pretty low readings at places like Valley Head and Bankhead National Forest, I would imagine.
