CONCERNING THIS WEATHER SITUATION.

Our ABC3340 Skywatcher, who is the Fire Chief in Cuba, Alabama in Sumter County, reports 1.14 inches of rain from the slow moving storm and lots of lightning. One of his units reports that the lightning rate was 6 cloud to ground strikes per minute. That was certainly borne out by lightning detection equipment.
