WE WUZ ROBBED–AGAIN
Another case today when much stronger thunderstorms moved into South Alabama from South Mississippi. They did an end run and cut us off at the pass. They sucked up some of the moisture that was meant for us. (Mobile Airport 2.89 inches!) We had hoped for 1/2 to one inch across Central Alabama today but we had to settle for less than 1/3 inch at Anniston and Birmingham Airports and only 0.09 at Tuscaloosa. There were pockets of heavier rain.
