Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Greene, Lamar, Pickens, Sumter [AL] till 4:45 AM CDT
To our friends in Pickens in Tuscaloosa Counties…
That is a dangerous storm in Noxubee County MS. It shows the signature of a severe wind producer with the potential to produce a tornado as well.
The highest danger of a tornado right now is near Macon MS.
This storm will be into Pickens County near Pickensville before 4:15. The NWS has decided to go with a severe thunderstorm warning since the storm did not show as strong rotation on the last radar measurement.
