Another Cold Morning

Below freezing again this morning over a good part of Alabama. Let’s run down some reports, although not all inclusive.

A high pressure area was centered over Mississippi and Alabama this morning, but there is a band of middle clouds across much of Central Alabama. The clouds will decrease as the day goes on and there should be considerable sunshine by this afternoon.

HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE HERE?
Summit, Greenland reporting 63 below zero and they are expecting to drop as low as 72 below zero in the next 24 hours. This, of course, is on the ice cap in the central part of Greenland. Nevertheless, it is an interesting observation.

…or, WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE HERE?
The NWS in Kodiak, Alaska warns that wind gusts will reach near 80 mph tonight and Tuesday in some of the coastal areas with 18-foot seas. They will get a lot of snow and they have also issued a HEAVY FREEZING SPRAY WARNING. How would you like to see one of those on Lake Logan Martin?
