Rainfall Totals at 4:30 pm

Here are a few rainfall totals mainly from the Skycam locations plus my weather station, too. These represent rainfall amounts since midnight.

Downtown Birmingham – 1.93″
Tuscaloosa – 1.64″
Helena – 1.41″
Demopolis – 1.40″
Cullman – 1.38″
Gulf Shores – 1.31″
Inverness (280) – 1.31″
Mt. Cheaha – 1.17″ (with rain on-going)
Birmingham Airport – 1.00″
Gadsden – 0.87″
Jasper – 0.67″
Hamilton – 0.38″

Overall a nice rain. Eastern sections did not seem to get as much as the western half of the state. Plus the Hamilton value is low because they had a good deal of rain before midnight. Probably about the same for Jasper.

Nice to see a bit of sun before the last day of 2006 fades into the sunset. Happy New Year!!
