Two Main Storms for Now…

In Alabama…tornado warning for southern Greene and Hale County until 1 p.m. Evidence of rotation between Boligee and Forkland. This storm is moving NE. Should pass south of Akron, crossing SR-14 in Hale County.

Sumter County is all clear for now…more storms will come later.

In Mississippi, a major tornadic storm is moving through Central Mississippi. It is passing through Choctaw County near Ackerman. It is approaching Oktibbeha County, including Starkville. Sirens are sounding on the Miss St. Campus. Tornado warnings are in effect.

This storm will eventually push toward Lamar County.
