MAROON ALERT: Tornado activity has been reported in counties southeast of Starkville and Oktibbeha County and is moving in a northeastly direction. Severe conditions are expected in the Starkville area at approximately 1-1:30 p.m. and may last for an hour or longer. Students, faculty and staff on the Starkville campus should make plans to shelter in place during the 12:30-3:30 p.m. tme frame. During this time, there will be a suspension of regularly scheduled classes. Seek shelter on the bottom floor of your building and stay away from windows and doors. The next update will be 1:30 p.m.
