St. Clair Storms Increasing

| June 15, 2011 @ 10:03 pm | Reply

A storm is growing over St. Clair County along US-231 north of Pell City.

It is about 15 miles east of my location in Trussville…and we are getting treated to a lightning show in the eastern sky.

I would trade it gladly for a quarter inch of rain.

Storms are forming as a result of the outflow boundary that moved southwest out of the East Alabama storms. Cells are now also forming near Leeds and Moody.
