Storms continue quite strong tonight over Shelby County.

They are edging into extreme northern Chilton County and are now building southeastward into extreme southwest Talladega and Coosa Counties.

Storms are strongest from east of Columbiana to Talladega Springs and on into Coosa County. There is probably some hail falling near Talladega Springs.

Storms are strong over the very southern tip of Shelby County as well.

Other storms are intensifying between Harpersville and Childersburg.

They will be getting quite strong in western Coosa County, west of Rockford, as outflow boundaries collide.

Another quickly intensifying storm is south of Alex City.

Torrential rain and deadly lightning are the main effect of these storms. Strong gusty winds could occur as well, along with some small hail.
